Sony released an official pic and announced the new title as ‘The Amazing Spider-man’.

Andrew Garfield as the new Spiderman

Here is a first peak at Andrew Garfield (The Social Network) as the new Spidey. Looks like they updated the costume to be more gritty and toned down. It’s also diverging with a new pattern with the red/blue. Garfield also is slimmer so I am curious if he will have the screen presence to carry the web-slinging mantel. What are ya’lls thoughts?
