Hurt Locker upsets Avatar at the Oscars

The 82nd Academy Awards is over with the surprise hit of Hurt Locker over favorites like Avatar. Congratulations to Katheryn Bigelow on becoming the first female director to win an Oscar for Best Director for The Hurt Locker, which then went on to win Best Picture. We really enjoyed the Hurt Locker but was a little surprised by the results of the evening. We were especially disappointed by the snubbing of Inglourious Basterds in a couple of catergories.
